Adult Electrode Pads:
The Defibtech Lifeline Adult Defibrillation Electrodes (1 set) are specifically for use with the Defibtech Lifeline AED. (cannot be used with Lifeline View AED)The disposable electrodes have a 2 year shelf life, but need to replaced after each use. Make sure to have an extra set of pads on hand, which can be stored in the Lifeline carrying case.
Lithium Battery:
The Defibtech Lifeline Battery Pack Battery Pack lasts 5 years in the Lifeline AED while in stand-by mode. The battery pack comes with a 9-volt lithium battery that tests the AED daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. This powerful battery can deliver up to 125 shocks, or 8 hours of continuous operating time. Make sure you always have a spare battery in case it is necessary during a rescue. Note: Defibtech also makes an even stronger, 7 year battery, for low AED maintenance.
Pediatric Electrode Pads:
The Defibtech Lifeline AED Pediatric Pads should be used on children younger than 8 years old or under 55 lbs. These pediatric pads are for use specifically with the Defibtech Lifeline AED (cannot be used with Lifeline View) and can be easily stored in the Lifeline AED carrying case. Make sure to always have a spare set of pads available during a rescue.
